A Higher Purpose
This program helps secure housing for families in need. Our Council uses the Habitat for Humanity spirit, but does work on existing structures or acquires other forms of housing to meet the housing needs of Hickory County residents.

Overview
Each year, our Council has found a local citizen in need of housing. In one instance we substantially repaired a home and in another we acquired a mobile home, furnished it, and secured water, electricity, and propane for the home.
