KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIPS

“Tantum eruditi sunt liberi” — only the educated are free. The Knights of Columbus has been helping young people obtain this freedom since our founding. During the past year, the Supreme Council provided nearly $1 million in scholarships to students attending colleges, universities, and seminaries. Learn more about what is offered and how to apply.

Since graduation ceremonies are uncertain, we sent these students notices of their awards without a formal presentation.

Fr. Donald Powers Council #13786 of the St. Bernadette’s Knights of Columbus awarded scholarships of $500 each to students of the four Hickory County Schools this year.  This year’s recipients are Savannah Barnet of Skyline, Madelyn McGrady of Wheatland, Faith Sabala of Hermitage, and Karen Reed of Weaubleau.  It is with great pleasure the Knights of Columbus invest in the education of Hickory County students. Congratulations to these deserving students.
